Duchess Auguste, the wife of Duke Karl Wilhelm Ferdinand and sister of the English King George III, had this small neo-classical palace built above the Oker meadow in 1768/69.
She named it Richmond to remind her of her homeland and had an English-style landscape garden created to compliment the palace.
This tour is not barrier-free.
